This week has been pretty eventful so far :D

Tuesday i went and saw Sarah, We sat in Starbucks and watched the snow for a bit and then went shopping, met up with Jade and went to Conexxions on Broard Street, bussed it back to Pigeon and then saw Sarah off.. Me and Jade then went to look for Sid, found Hannah, someone else, Nero and someone who i recognise but can't remember where i know from.. we ended up in MacDonalds with Sid Gary and Matt from Forever Fallen.. That was a funny night :D

Today, went town again, this time it was the Enter Shikari signing in Pulp, i can't believe hardly anyone knew about it O_o.. Anyways, met up with Steph, went to Pulp, lost Steph, talked to Al about Bleach, Got a wristband off Al, wandered aimlessly round town, found Sid again, found Dan, went to the baguette shop, went to Pulp to get a wristband for Dan, trekked around town looking for a HMV that sold something Enter Shikari-ish, went back to the line, found out they were delayed for half an hour, went outside with Sid, went back in, saw a girl faint with excitement, went to get my poster signed by Enter Shikari, they gave me jelly babies :D.. Then came home.

Tomorrow, going to Andrew's with Jim to watch Jim teach Andrew how to play guitar.. That should be interesting..

Yeah, i've been negledting you recently, haven't i Blog

Tbh there's not been much to write about xD

I've recently gotten into the anime Bleach.. it's about this dude called Kurosaki Ichigo, and he becomes a death god and goes around killing these things called Hollows, there's more to it than that obviously, it's fucking awesome tbh :D

Booked my band in to open a Dimebag Darrel tribute night at a pub called The Olde Crown on the 11th of December. We'll be sharing the stage with She Screams Murder, Collision Process and Adust.. i'm really looking forward to it.. We've got to perform a Pantera cover as well, to showcase how awesome Dimebag was at guitar.. I'm so psyched to play it :D

Gorillaz was fucking sick tonight

They opened with the plastic beach intro, then went into last living souls, then stylo, on meloncholy hill, rhymestone eyes and i can't remember any others

they did dirty harry, clint eastwood and feel good inc. too.. was well pleased with that

the support acts were little dragon, who does guest vocals on plastic beach, and de-la-soul who do the rapping vocals
didn't like them xD.. i don't like rap in general.. so yeah..

They didn't sell enough standing tickets as well.. so we got to exchange our seating tickets for standing ones

quite happy about that :D

Nothin' Lasts Forever, Even Cold November Rain

Had a breakthrough today.

I'm a drifter.. besides my family, i don't have a constant in my life.

The people i knew a year ago have now moved on, the people that i knew 2 years ago have also moved on.

Nothing stays the same for more than a year, i don't know if anyone else has noticed this with their life.

I guess, i want a constant in my life, someone who doesn't have to stay, but who does, regardless.

And i think, the only way i can do that is through a relationship, that's why i want a long term relationship, more than anything.

I guess i'm afraid to lose anyone else, that's why i'm hanging onto the people i have so much.

I know that in a year i'll have changed, i'll have a completly different set of friends, maybe life won't be very different than it is now, partly because i'm starting to understand a bit better what i want to do, but the people i know will move on and things will change.

I dunno, i'm ranting.. i guess i just want someone who won't leave, i've lost enough people.

tidied my room the other day.. like absolutely blitzed it.. moved furniture around and shit, was good xD

also went to band practise yesterday for the first time in bloody ages, i have money to go now so all is well :D

Scarefest was actually amazing

had so much fun

It's the first time i've been to alton towers as well

we went on Air, Hex, the ghost train thingy, and the new one, Thirteen

Didn't go on others, the quewes were insane!.. we went on all 3 of the mazes too.. The Tower of Terrors was the best one, some of the characters reminded me a lot of the monks out of Resident Evil 4, it was fucking amazing :D

Got back quite late and my mum wanted the house to herself for the night, so i stopped at steve's, we ordered pizza and watched Red Cliff and then went to bed

it was an epic day, definitely worth the money!

Been learning a new technique on bass

i've improved in leaps and bounds.. keeping my hand as still as possable and stretching my fingers over 4 frets, and using the same fingers to play the frets i need to

for example, i'd use my index finger for the first fret, ring finger for the second fret, and so on and so forth

my slapping and popping is getting better too, now that i've picked up my grade 4 book again

good times :D

Was woken by mother yelling something along the lines of 'YOU BROKE MY MUG... go sign on'

then i realised the time and jumped out of bed like a ninja

Had to walk to erdington, wasn't happy about that

THEN went into Gamestation to ask about vaccancies, they had some, but i needed a CV

so i walked home

conned my mother into giving me bus fare before she left

and went back to Erdington with my sister

went into Gamestation and they asked me to memorise a shelf of products and then they asked me questions about it and the dude was marking stuff down on a clipboard

then we went to town, me and my sister

went into Oasis, then i waited outside H&M for her to buy some form of top

then we came home, and then bev wanted to dye her hair

so we went to sainsbury's and got hair dye

Rosie came round to help her dye her hair, and is now staying over

i'm tired

because i didn't sleep again last night

and i've walked lots today

so i'm going to go to bed shortly

not in a good mood as it is

we suck, we really do

there's too many people who enjoy messing with other people and it sucks

especially for the nice people, who don't fuck around with your heart

it's a vicious circle, we get fucked up by someone, and then the good people get fucked up by them because they're already fucked up and the cycle goes on and on and on

some people are okay though, the people who can bounce back and stay the same, but it wears you down eventually, someone somewhere is bound to mess you up so badly that you can't recover properly and become damaged for life, it's an endless shitty circle

the nice people, the people who care, seem to be the most vulnerable, we fall for the people who have been fucked up by other people and try to fix them and end up getting fucked up by whoever we've fallen for, that's how people get fucked up

and then we end up alone

Deadly Diseases, Glowsticks and Music..

Yes, i didn't post a blog yesterday

BUT

I'm posting one today so there

Went to Manchester yesterday.. Was amazing, had a really good time.. most of it was spent on the road, but it was good

Me and my sister got to town at about quarter to 2 and waited for Al and Hannah, Al was driving.

They turned up at about 2..

Anyway, we spent the entire drive there listening to music and laughing

Then we got to the Manchester Academy, Some Happy Ending were playing the academy 3 there

They have 4 rooms though!
And the sign is cooler than the one here
And it's generally a cooler academy
AND their tickets are more colorful

ANYWAY

So, we got there at about half four fiveish and watched Some Happy Ending and the band on before them sound check then we all went to find food

I GOT SUBWAY

Was so happy about that
Haven't had subway for AGES

ANYWAY

Then we had to line up to get in because we didn't have backstage passes.. BAD ACADEMY!

But we got in eventually which was good

The first band on were crap.. they really did suck, they were a metallica ripoff with too many pinch harmonics, they showed off far too much, they looked like amateurs

The second band were better, Though Some Happy Ending were the best band there, it's a shame like half the crowd had to leave 'cause their coach was leaving though, they looked like they were really getting into it

Anyway, after the gig me, Hannah and Bev waited by the serivce lift to help them put all the stuff in the cars, most of the stuff was going in one of the 2 Ford KAs.. i do not envy the guys who had to drive home in that

We went in the other one which was Al's

We found a glow-stick in a puddle round the back of The Academy as well, and i pointed at it and yelled "LOOK. IT'S AIDS IN A STICK!".. Because we were in Manchester, and well.. you get the joke

The drive home was just as funny, except there was less music, and more talking, we also made really good time, took us like, 2 hours to get back

We crashed at Al's, although there wasn't much sleeping, we stopped up half the night with Al's roommate and this strange kid called Lee.

Nick, the drummer from Some Happy Ending also came and kept us company for a bit but then went home

It was a good night, definitely the best and most hilarious night i've had where drink hasn't been involved :D

Just got back and wrote this, didn't sleep at all, so i'm gonna go get some shuteye and then play bass!

Got up at around 11 and phoned vale mail, then went and checked i'd done all of my round, which i had, which is good

Told them i couldn't do it any more, so i've now officially quit my paper round

Then came home, had something to eat and came online

That girl is amazing, she's the first person i've met in years who actually understands me and gives a crap about what i have to say :D

Going manchester tomorrow, looking forward to that :D

Today was alright

Got up at around 12, got showered, got dressed, ate, then went to town to look for jobs.

Was a rather productive day.

Then went to this jobs fair thingy at the ICC

Ryan was there, haven't seen him in aages, it was good, didn't speak much though xD

Also went into Pulp and saw Levi, didn't know he worked in Pulp but there we go.. Spoke to him about booking Deprived in for another Brum Scene gig.. More info to come about that later in the week probably.

Then came home to find mum had bought home goodies from Coventry, these included some of those Coffee sachet thingies.. they're nice!! :D

Speaking of which, i think i'll go get one in a minute..

Anyway

Then i had some of that chicken and rice stuff i made yesterday because i was hungry and didn't eat in town

Then i came online and actually played some bass, i know, shocking that i do actually play bass sometimes :o

Then i had dinner, and now i'm here

Good day today

Don't exactly know what made it a good day, it was just a good day

Slept until like half three, then was presented with some strange form of shepard's pie by my mother.. it was like.. not proper minced lamb, it was in big chunks, and the potatoes were as well..

oh well, it was nice

Also did a bit of cooking myself

Made this chicken rice thing with bacon.. I've done it before and it's usually really nice, that was the case today as well, except i added garlic and onions and some cajun seasoning which really helped

Didn't have any of that tonight though, i'm going to save it and put it in seperate little tub thingies and eat it in the week.. 'cause i'm cool like that :D

then came online and sat here doing bugger all

lazy days are awesome as long as you do have something to do

Going to this jobs thingy tomorrow, can't remember where it is though, this should be interesting

Should be an adventure though.. and it'll get me out of the house for a bit which is always a good thing

hope i get paid tomorrow as well, it would be nice
